We claim the consideration of our differences, without individualism or communitarianism, but in a permanent exchange involving attentive listening and self-expression taking into account his/her/interlocutor(s). Through this action, we wish to place empathy as a pillar of our society. This mechanism of thought must be the instinctive resource of our common and requires, therefore, a constant action.
We claim that All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.
Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, and change as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Freedom is often associated with liberty and autonomy in the sense of “giving oneself one’s own laws”. In one definition, something is “free”, if it can change and is not constrained in its present state.
Respect, also called esteem, is a positive feeling or deferential action shown towards someone or something considered important or held in high esteem or regard. It conveys a sense of admiration for good or valuable qualities. It is also the process of honoring someone by exhibiting care, concern, or consideration for their needs or feelings.
We claim that to support is to agree with and give encouragement to someone or something because you want him, her, or it to succeed. Having a social support system can have a positive impact on overall mental health, especially for women, older adults, patients, workers and students.
We believe that the cultural rights movement is aimed to protect the rights of groups of people, or their culture, in similar fashion to the manner in which the human rights movement has brought attention to the needs of individuals throughout the world.
